Poland is a country located in Central Europe, but in the geopolitical sense belonging to Eastern Europe. In the west, the average temperature in January is 0 ℃ to -1 ℃, in the northeast from -4.5 to -5.5 ℃, and in the mountains in the south of the country is around -7 ℃.
As for precipitation, the most rainfall (800 to 1000 mm) is in mountainous areas, fewer are in the lake area and the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains (600 to 800 mm), and at least are in the central lowland area (450 to 600 mm).
