The Cycling Route Around Tatras
The Tatra Mountains are the highest mountains in Poland. The historical, cultural and natural trail around the Tatra Mountains gives the opportunity to travel around the mountain range. The whole trail in the future is to be about 250 km. However, at the moment all work on the trail in Poland is fully done. The Polish section is 60 km long. It starts near Sucha Hora in Slovakia and ends behind Kacwin, at the border with Slovakia. On the Trstena – Czarny Dunajec – Nowy Targ section is free of traffic along the former narrow-gauge railway route. So this is the perfect ride for families with children.
The trail goes round Nowy Targ, but it is worth entering the Market Square and taking a short break there. Behind Nowy Targ, the trail runs towards the “B贸r na Czerwonem” Reserve and the airport in Nowy Targ, where we can take a panoramic flight.聽 with view of the Tatra Mountains. The trail continues through the towns of Gronk贸w, Nowa Bia艂a and reaches Krempach, where begins the most difficult stage of this trail on the Polish side. Ahead of us, there is an uphill to Dursztyn and a beautiful descent to 艁apsze Ni偶ne. Finally, a driveway and a wonderful, scenic downhill ride to Kacwin. We are going further towards the border with Slovakia.

This trail is more likely for one day of cycling. It is good idea to diversify trip along the VeloDunajec trail.聽 The section from Krempachy to Kacwin is a suitable route for cyclists who like to up and down ride in the mountains and this will be an alternative to the fairly flat section of Velo Dunajec.
How to get on the trail:
As part of the trail, which is intended to be a loop, in present form the beginning and the end of trail is bad connected. Therefore, it is worth using this trail as a segment of a longer trip or as part of the loop. To join the trail, it is best to get to Nowy Targ. This can also be done by train.
